PeachNote is a to-do list and dress-up app made by one person. This policy explains what happens to your information, in plain language.

The short version

Your tasks, your doll, your coins, and your settings are stored on your own device. PeachNote has no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party analytics. Nobody is buying or selling your data, because there is nothing to sell.

What is stored on your device

The following is saved locally on your phone or computer and stays there:

The name you enter when you first open the app
Your lists, tasks, notes, reminders, and completed-task history
Your coin balance, purchases, wishlist, and doll outfit
Your chosen theme and app settings
Food tracker entries, if you use that widget
A simple count of which days you opened the app, used to show your own stats back to you

Deleting the app removes all of it.

When PeachNote connects to the internet

The app works fully offline. There is one exception:

Barcode scanning in the food tracker. If you scan a product barcode, PeachNote sends that barcode number to Open Food Facts, a free public food database, to look up nutrition information. Only the barcode is sent. No personal information, no account details, and no photographs are included. If you never scan a barcode, this never happens.

Camera

PeachNote asks for camera access only when you choose to scan a barcode or a nutrition label. Images are processed on your device and are not uploaded, saved, or shared. You can decline camera access and use the rest of the app normally.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, PeachNote schedules them locally on your device. Reminders are not sent through a server, so their content never leaves your phone.

Accounts

PeachNote does not currently require an account, and you can use every feature without one.

An optional account is planned so that your data can be backed up and synced between devices. If and when that arrives, this policy will be updated before the feature ships, and it will describe exactly what is stored and how to delete it. Optional means optional — the app will continue to work with everything kept on-device.

Children

PeachNote is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored on your device, deleting the app deletes your data. You can also clear individual items from within the app at any time. If an account feature is added later, in-app account deletion will be available in Settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
